you NEED to know!

You NEED to know that passing airline training is difficult.
Many candidates do not understand the theory. A passing grade of fifty percent is unacceptable. Students need to demonstrate proficiency in ALL written and practical exams. This program covers many of the same topics that govern airline regulations, which initial flight attendant training programs are based upon. Your ability to successfully pass this program will determine your strengths for passing formal airline training programs.
You NEED to know that not all airlines operate the same.
Some companies are bigger than others and offer more benefits. Smaller companies may offer more room for advancement.
You NEED to know that airlines require HIGH marks during their training class.
During airline training, candidates must achieve an average mark of at least 80 percent or higher before they are offered a job. This program gives you experience in achieving the same standards. You get aquainted with examples of regulatory policies and procedures. You also gain more confidence when you are familiar with new terminologies.
You NEED to know the various interview styles of the airline industry.
Much of this is explained during the final lesson of the program, along with other facts.
You NEED to know the realities of this job before you invest your time and energy becoming a Flight Attendant.
This program requires the completion of assignment summaries, each based upon true situations. Cabin crew safety reports provide factual details to the student.
You NEED to know that being rejected by an airline is quite common.
Your instructor explains typical reasons for failure and rejection. The important thing is the will to succeed and keep going. One airlines’ loss is anothers’ gain!
You NEED to know this program is meant as an “Introduction” to the Flight Attendant training.
As with all preparatory Flight Attendant programs, it is meant as a useful and meaningful supplement to actual airline training programs. It is not a replacement, but rather an enhancement designed to make applicants excel.
You NEED to know what some of our past graduates are saying.
“I took the flight attendant prep course. I was hired just before the end of the course with Skyservice Airlines. “ (now with Porter Airlines)

“I'm happy to report I have been offered a job with Sunwing! I had to relocate to Calgary from Winnipeg because Calgary is my home base. Training began today and I think it is going to be a blast!

“ Things are going very well for me. I got a job at Westjet and am sooooooo excited! I feel truly blessed that I had the experience in Africa. Such an amazing adventure for sure. I am just waiting to hear when my ground school starts... they said fall or possibly the new year, and I am okay with that. In the meantime I am trying to get on with Canadian North. I had a second interview with them on Friday. I'm just keeping all options open as you never know what can happen in this industry.”
K.K (Confederation College)
“I enjoyed the course at all levels, some of the topics were a bit difficult but i studied hard.”
J.B (Confederation College)
“First of all I wanted to thank you for putting your effort on this course, as a student of yours I do really appreciate it a lot. I've learned so many things on this course. It helps me to build up my self-confidence and start to be more conscious about the things happening around me. I've realized that becoming a Flight Attendant is not an easy job like I used to believe before, it carries alot of responsibilities in which I am determine that I could handle it. I'm hoping that I could get a job as soon as possible and be able to share my experiences to you and to your future students.”
P.S
Jim, your such a wonderful teacher!
A.S (Humber College)
“The course was excellent: from the interesting course material to your expeditious replies, it really kept me motivated to explore the career of a flight attendant. I have worked with online courses in the past and the system you use (Blackboard) is one of the most user friendly I have ever used. Besides that I look forward to entering a career that brings such wonderous experiences and benefits.”
B.Y (Humber College)
“Things are great for myself and at Westjet. I have met a lot of great people. Great crews and great guests. It sure beats the hell out of being a mechanic in the winter months. I have two Maui layovers in January for 25 hours and than 2 Nassau's for 28 hours in February.
P.S. Apparently there was 50,000 resumes for my position in 2007 and only 638 people made it through online. I consider myself lucky. Thanks again!”
